TiVo is a pioneer in home entertainment industry. The corporate headquarters of the company is based in Alviso, CA. TiVo was founded in 1997. The company developed the first digital video recorder (DVR) in the world. The TiVo affiliate program is an online network of approved affiliate sites which have collaborated with TiVo.

Tivo offers official links and banners to these sites which direct web traffic back to the tivo.com online store. At the present time, the company continues to produce the TiVo DVRs, which are used for sharing and experiencing television, movies, video downloads, music, photos, and the like.
